Meeting of the Cabinet of 14 of November of 2007
The Cabinet congregated this Wednesday, 14 of November, 2007, in the Conference room of the Cabinet, in the Palace of the Government, Díli, and approved:
1 - Decree that Approves the Organic one of the Health department
The organization of the military duties/service of the Ministry is decisive to improve the accessibility and quality of the installment of the health military duties/service, through the decentralization of the operational interventions of the military duties/service and rendering institutions of cares of health. The Cabinet approved projecto coats the suggestions in accordance with presented.
2 - Proposal of Resolution to the National Parliament for Adhesion to the Protocol of Kyoto to the Convention Situation/picture of United Nations On Climate Change. The technician of the State secretary of the Environment clarified the Cabinet concerning resultant the financial implications for Timor-Leste of the adhesion to the Protocol supplies.
The Protocol of Quioto intends to give to operationalization and legal effectiveness to the objectivos of the Convention of United Nations On Climatic CHange, of form to guarantee the effective combat to the changes in the climate, thus establishing quantified commitments of limitation or reduction of the emissions of gases with greenhouse effect, in view of a global reduction of the same ones in 5% below of the 1990 levels.
The Cabinet approved the proposal of Resolution. The Protocol of Quioto will be, subsequently, sent to the National Parliament for Ratification of the Adhesion of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste.
3 - Document of work for the Politics of Youth
After analysis, the Government approved a work document that contains the orienting principles for the elaboration of a Basic Law of Youth, to present in the National Parliament. The document establishes the main areas to implement in the scope of the Law in principal:
· To mobilize youth in the communitarian context;
· To establish the link between the Education and the after-pertaining to school reality;
· To provide more and better chances of job;
· Literacy;
· To help most disadvantaged;
· To promote the civic participation of youth.
The Cabinet still analyzed:
4 - Basic Law of the Sport - This diploma intends to be a proposal of the Government to the National Parliament in the direction to create the bases of the development of the practice of the Sport in Timor-Leste. After the presentation made by the technician of the State secretary of Youth and the Sport the Government placed some questions and decided that projectwill have to be coats for the State secretary of Youth and Sport and reappreciation in future meeting of the Cabinet.

Os membros do governo reunidos hoje, Quarta-feira 2 de Maio, na Sala de Reuniões do Conselho de Ministros, no Palácio do Governo, em Díli, fizeram a primeira apreciação do relatório da Comissão dos Notáveis relativamente à situação dos chamados “peticionários”, que foi distribuído aos membros do governo antes da reunião.
Foi acordado pelos presentes que o assunto fosse agendado para o próximo Conselho de Ministros.
No referido encontro uma delegação composta por elementos da Missão Integrada das Nações Unidas em Timor-Leste e pelas Forças Internacionais de Segurança fez a apresentação, aos membros do governo, do plano segurança do país durante o período das eleições presidenciais.
