The Plenary Session of today was chaired by the Vice President of the National Parliament, Mr. Vicente da Silva Guterres, assisted by Vice President National Parliament Sra. Maria Paixão da Costa, Secretary of the Bureau Sra. Maria Terezinha Viegas, Deputy Secretary Sra. Maria da Costa Exposto and Mrs Maria Teresa de Carvalho.

  In the period before the Order of the Day were scheduled the following information:

1. Information on the composition of the Parliamentary Friendship Groups, particularly with Japan;

2. Information on the resumption of functions of Mr Manuel Tilman;

3. Any political statements.
In the period on the agenda were scheduled the following subjects:

1. Announcement of admission to the Commission of Economy, Finance and Anti-Corruption (Commission C) and the other Specialized Permanent Commissions of Proposed Law No. 10/II ( "First amendment to Law No. 10/2007, of 31 December approving the general budget of the state for 2008.

2. Discussion and vote in the whole on Proposed Law No. 9 / II ( "Law of Arms")

His Excellency the Prime Minister Mr. Kay Rala Xanana Gusmão was present at the plenary session .

The Commission of Foreign Affairs, Defence and National Security, (Commission  B) presented the report and opinion of PPL N 9/II on the Law of Arms.

After the discussion Members agreed with the overall Proposed Law no.9 / II with 28 votes in favour, 12 against and 7 abstentions.

3. Discussion and vote on Draft Resolution No. 4/II (Ratifica the agreement that amending the Agreement on Partnership between the African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) and European Union (EU). The draft resolution was approved by the Deputies with 45 votes to 0 with 1 abstention.

The Plenary Session of today was chaired by Mr. Vice President of the National Parliament, Vicente da Silva Guterres, assisted by Mrs. Secretary of the Bureau Maria Terezinha Viegas, Deputy Secretary Maria da Costa Exposto.

Vice President of the National Parliament Mr. Vicente da Silva Guterres informed the Members that the President of the National Parliament La Sama Fernando de Araujo will go abroad to address health, and other subjects is the visit of Parliament to Japan on June 26 of 2008.

1. Information on submission of the report of the Government "About the State Emergency Board in the country between February 11  and  May 14, 2008 (Looking at the past and Perspectives for the Future)"

2.Declared policy of the parliamentary Bancada FRETILIN, on the draft purchase of cars Land Cruiser / Prado to the National Parliament. The Bancada Parliamentary FRETILIN cancelled the rumours spread in East Timor on

3.  Presentation of the Commission's report of Infrastructure and Social Equipment (Commission G) on visit to the District of Dili Apresentação Commission report Presentation of a report of the Commission of Economy, Finance and Anti-Corruption (Commission C) on visit to the District of Oecusse postponed to next week.

The Plenary Session of today was chaired by Mr. President of the National Parliament Fernanado La Sama de Araujo, assisted by the Honourable Vice President National Parliament, and Mrs Maria Paixão  Secretary of the Bureau Maria Terezinha Viegas, Deputy Secretary Maria da Costa Exposto.

In the period before the Order of the Day were scheduled the following information:

1. Information on resumption of office of Sr. Deputado Eduardo de Deus Barreto;

2. Information on the grounds of absence of Sra. Deputada Teresa of C. Amaral;

3. Fretilin Parliamentary Bench Policy Declaration on the purchase of cars for Members

4. Policy Declaration by ASDT Parliamentary Bench;

5. Other possible policy statement.

In the period on the agenda were scheduled the following subjects:

1. Final vote overall Draft Law n 2/II on "Legal Regime of private advocacy and training of lawyers". It was approved with 44 votes for, 0 against, 3 abstention.

2. Discussion and vote in the deliberation of the draft. 9/II, approving a timetable for meetings of the Permanent Specialized Commissions.

The Plenary Session of today was chaired by President of the National Parliament Mr. La Sama-Fernando de Araujo assisted by Vice-Chairman Vicente da Silva Guterres, Secretary of the Bureau Mrs. Maria Terezinha Viegas and Deputy Secretaries, Sra. Maria da Costa Exposto and Sra. Maria Teresa Carvalho.

It was attended by the Minister of Economy and Development IV Constitutional Government and comment.

In the period before on the agenda were the topics addressed:

1. Distribution of the report of the External Audit on "Review Process Supply of the Government of Timor-Leste";2. Reading the letter from Prime Minister consultation with UNMIT about the resolution of the National Parliament in 4 / 2008, March 14 ( "Constitution of the International Investigation Commission of Violent Facts Ooccurring at February 11, 2008) by Secretary of the Bureau;

3. The agenda of the policy statement of the National Unity Party Parliamentary Bench was postponed to next week by the Parliamentary Bancada;

4. Declaration of policyby the Social Democratic Party Parliamentary Bench on the areas of 300 thousand and 100 thousand hectares of plantations for borracheiras and of cane sugar;

5. The agenda of the political declaration of Timorse Social Democratic Association Parliamentary Bench is suspended;

6. Declaration of policy by the Fretilin Parliamentary Bench;

7. Other possible political statements.

In the period Order From Day were the subjects discussed:

Continuation of the discussion and vote in the specialty of the draft Act in 5/II ( "Tax Law");
